Daniel Baldwin
Restoration Project Manager
Daniel draws from a diverse background in restoration effectiveness monitoring for his work with The Freshwater Trust. Prior to joining our team, he worked in research focusing on drone-based remote sensing and evaluating the long-term geomorphic response of rivers to restoration projects. Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and a master’s degree in Physical Geography from the University of Oregon, with an emphasis on fluvial geomorphology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). As Restoration Project Manager, he is responsible for collecting and analyzing critical field data for The Freshwater Trust’s habitat restoration and flow restoration programs. Daniel’s work helps ensure that our projects happening on the ground are having their intended outcomes. When not collecting data in the field, Daniel can be found backpacking, running, or tending to his several dozen houseplants.
