Amanda Temple
Geospatial Ecologist

Amanda brings experience in field surveys and GIS analysis to her role at The Freshwater Trust. Her previous work includes creating spatial habitat models for more than 50 wildlife species, GIS analysis for conservation and wildlife crossing projects, and field surveys to track species through wetlands and forested uplands. Amanda holds a Bachelors of Science in Wildlife Science from State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, a Masters of Science in Geography from Portland State University, and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Portland State University. As a geospatial ecologist, she supports TFT’s conservation, resilience, and landscape-level water and land management strategies through literature review, spatial analysis, and mapping. Outside of the office, she enjoys bicycle touring adventures, making arts and crafts, and visiting natural history museums and botanical gardens.
