Alexis Graves
Restoration Program Coordinator
Alexis brings years of experience in ecological research and project coordination to The Freshwater Trust. Prior to her current position, Alexis worked for the Sierra Nevada Adaptive Management Experiment at the University of Nevada Reno, focusing on the how management can create more resilient forests under the effects of climate change. Beyond forest inventory work, she planted thousands of conifer seedlings across California and was lucky enough to be able to climb giant sequoias for a genetics study. Alexis received a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology from University of California Davis. She now works as the Restoration Program Coordinator based in Eugene, Oregon, coordinating the new water quality trading program with the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission and supporting partner organizations implementing riparian reforestation projects. Outside of conservation work, Alexis enjoys exploring the natural world, reading on the couch with her cats, playing D&D, and searching for the best craft breweries around.
