Heather Jones
Bookkeeper & Grants Administrator

Heather brings an extensive background in bookkeeping, systems and high-volume retail management to The Freshwater Trust. She has worked in management, buying and accounting for a number of businesses in Oregon and California. Heather has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from California State University Northridge and spent part of her career writing about actors, musicians and artists. As the Bookkeeper and Grants Administrator, Heather manages the accounting for the organization and leads all grant budgeting and reporting duties. Outside the office, Heather enjoys yoga, thrift shopping, camping, and collecting low-brow art.

Heather’s Why: I work at The Freshwater Trust because I am proud to be a part of the good work we do for the environment and freshwater ecosystems. I love to go to work every day where I am challenged, where my efforts are valued, and where I am demonstrably appreciated.
