Aaron Angel
Environment & Natural Resources Specialist
Aaron has a diverse background in wildlife conservation and research, climate change adaptation planning, and program implementation. She led the implementation of the 2022-2026 Science Action Agenda for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta region and engaged with national science and academic institutions across California. She also managed and facilitated independent scientific peer review panels for state and federal science in coordination with agencies working in the Delta. Aaron holds a Master of Science in Biology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
As an Environment and Natural Resources Specialist for the TFT California team, Aaron supports the acceleration and scale of conservation initiatives throughout the Cosumnes River watershed, from the headwaters in the Eldorado National Forest to the convergence of the American, Cosumnes, and Mokelumne Rivers, and through the Sacramento–San Joaquin Bay-Delta. In her free time, she likes to volunteer with local bird conservation groups to help with bird banding, go birdwatching in the Delta, and spend time with friends and family at a local pub (board games are a plus!).
