Changing the Course is a short story about Joe Whitworth, one of the leading minds on freshwater conservation. His appreciation for water grew at an early age, but it was the lessons learned from his grandpa that shape his current views on the future of conservation. Along this journey Joe has discovered that conservation has hit a wall, the same approaches that were once successful aren’t working. He calls for a new vision, a new quantified approach to conservation that ensures both the economy and environment will align.
